I picked this up to store my diabetic supplies while traveling. Since I’m not traveling anytime soon, I froze the ice packs for a couple of days then packed up the case. The case is sturdy and holds quite a bit. It’s not quite hard sided, but it is a pretty firm, fabric covered case. It would likely get crushed if you sat on it. I left it on the kitchen counter out of the sun with a max of 75 degrees in the house. The ice packs were completed melted 10 hours in and just cool to the touch. Residual cooling would probably still take place but your items would likely start getting warmer by about 12 hours in. Great concept but those little ice packs just won’t do the trick for 24 hours.

To store. Both my insulin and my Ozempic pens. The gel packs last all day and even though they take up quite a bit of the real estate of these packs there is still enough room for my medication and syringes. The cooler is small about to put in any of the bags that I carry to work. I like the protective hard case so I don’t fear medication or syringe damage.

I got this Insulin hard shell travel cooler from Fanosy to keep my Humira at the proper temperature during an upcoming road trip and found it was accurately represented in the photos and description.
We are planning on doing a 3 day drive to visit family a few states over this summer and it is going to run across the day I’m supposed to take my Humira. Like Insulin, Humira has to be refrigerated and I was searching Amazon for a few days looking for alternatives to a mini fridge for the car (I did try that last go around and it did not work out well).
My search led me to this case and I thought it looked good enough to give a try and low and behold, those three ice packs inside the insulated case that folds inside the hard case was enough to keep the inside cool for the 8 hours I tested it.
My only issue with this, is that it is a bit larger, but then, in order to have those three ice packs, it kind of needs to be.
10/10 would recommend!
Understanding my ratings:
2 pts per star. Half stars always round up (benefit of the doubt).
10/10 Highly recommend
8/10 Would still recommend
6/10 Proceed with caution
4/10 Do not recommend
02/10 This is my equivalent of no stars. Stay far, far away.

My husband and I travel constantly and I took this case on an extended vacation overseas. It is very sturdy and I did drop it a few times yet none of my pens broke, nothing was damaged inside. It was extremely comforting to know that for the two hour trips we took, the pens stayed cold. The gel packs, once frozen, are, I would say, for a max of 4 hours. So for short trips, or until you get to a fridge, this is an absolute must.

This is a nice looking cooling travel case. The siding is fairly hard. Not indestructible, but would definitely hold up in any suitcase.
To be honest, I did not get it for insulin. I have a probiotic that has to be refrigerated. This was definitely made for insulin pens. My probiotic bottle did not fit inside the case. I just took out what I needed and put it in a Ziploc bag and that worked fine. It was probably in the case for nine hours during travel. It was cool when we arrived, but the gel packs were definitely not still frozen.
Overall worked great for what I needed.

This case is heavy duty and insulated. Comes with ice packs and a case to keep things sorted. It does feel a little heavy with the ice packs in it. It is approx 9″x 4.5″x2.5″, weighs 14oz, does not have a carry handle, and has a nice zipper.

This is just as measured and exactly what I needed for my glucose monitor. I got spoiled by a breastmilk ice pack bag that I got for my medications having 2 really densely packaged ice packs that I have zero concerns about breaking with near-constant interchanging. The three ice packs with this glucose monitor bag are not “flimsy” ice packs!!! However with the structure and use of this item, I really think that denser almost air mattress material when it comes to soft ice packs is the best way to ensure ice pack longevity and no bursting incidents over long times.

I’m one of those people who loves getting little cases like this to keep things in, I have many… This is the first ‘Diabetic’ case I’ve ever had, and also the first any kind of case I’ve had that has a working thermometer built into it. It’s surprising but it actually works… I don’t know how accurate it is, but I played around with it and saw it go up and down, and when it said it was 68 degrees, that was just about the temperature in my house. It’s so thin and flat I don’t know how they do it…
The case is tough, and the zipper is strong, and the insulated insert that holds the ice packs isn’t attached, so you can just pull it out to use, or not even use it at all, if you wanted to store other things in it.
